Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and engage in mediations as necessary.

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and briefs.

• Prepare correspondence for colleagues and clients.

• Perform legal research utilizing Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.

• Draft requests for discovery and responses to discovery inquiries.

• Review and assess documents and materials for production.

• Investigate claims and devise case handling strategies.

• Communicate with insurance carrier clients and insured parties.

• Prepare cases for trial or mediation and actively participate in them.

• Provide support for Utah-related liability and insurance issues, including insurance coverage disputes, bad faith claims, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, UIM defense, premises liability, trucking transportation claims, and employment and property disputes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in Montana, Utah, or Idaho.

• Experience in civil litigation.

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Capability to manage sensitive and time-critical matters concurrently.

• Effective problem-solving abilities.

• Skill in managing and prioritizing various projects.
