Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Perform legal research to support litigation efforts.

• Offer legal counsel to clients dealing with consumer debt issues.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients as well as opposing legal representatives.

• Keep abreast of changes in applicable laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with and assist staff to reach case objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required.

• Must be licensed to practice law within the relevant jurisdiction.

• Extensive experience in litigation is necessary.

• A demonstrated history of successfully negotiating contracts and agreements.

• Strong analytical capabilities are essential.

• Familiarity with law office software and tools is required.

• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities are needed.

• Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• A keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are critical.
