Associate AI Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Design, test, integrate, and deploy enterprise-level AI applications, copilots, agents, and their supporting components under the mentorship of senior engineers.

• Create solution components utilizing Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent Builder, Power Platform, Azure services, Power BI, and other relevant Microsoft technologies.

• Develop agent actions, tools, APIs, connectors, workflows, integrations, prompts, structured outputs, and tool-use flows following approved patterns and secure interfaces.

• Construct application components and agent backends using Python and/or C#/.NET, Azure Functions, REST APIs, source control, automated testing, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise APIs, Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, databases, SaaS applications, and other sanctioned data sources.

• Establish grounding and retrieval-augmented generation capabilities leveraging enterprise content, Azure AI Search, embeddings, vector search, Fabric data assets, and permission-aware retrieval strategies.

• Support Power Automate flows, Power Apps, custom connectors, Dataverse components, Fabric pipelines, notebooks, lakehouses, warehouses, and semantic models.

• Enforce secure identity and access protocols using Entra ID and associated Azure services.

• Generate evaluation datasets and automated tests to measure AI quality, grounding, safety, task completion, and regression behavior.

• Implement logging, tracing, monitoring, and telemetry practices to assess quality, latency, reliability, model usage, consumption, and failures; escalate risks or anomalies when necessary.

• Engage in code reviews, architecture discussions, documentation, customer workshops, implementation sessions, troubleshooting, and production deployments.

• Continue to enhance independence in delivering AI applications, agents, and integrations of increasing complexity, with senior engineering oversight for architectural and production decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical discipline, or a comparable combination of education and work experience.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in software, cloud, data, application, solution, automation, or AI engineering.

• Practical experience contributing to the design, build, testing, integration, or deployment of AI, generative AI, or agentic applications through professional work, significant projects, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft AI and cloud technologies such as Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Agent Builder, Power Platform, Azure AI services, Microsoft Graph, Azure AI Search, and GitHub Copilot.

• Experience in developing application components using Python and/or C#/.NET, REST APIs, GitHub or similar source control, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

• Familiarity with integrating applications with enterprise APIs, data sources, Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, databases, or SaaS platforms.

• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector search, grounding, prompt development, structured outputs, and fundamental agent design concepts.

• Comprehension of cloud security and identity practices, including Entra ID, least privilege, secure data access, secret management, and Responsible AI principles.

• Capacity to support evaluation datasets, automated testing, logging, tracing, monitoring, and telemetry for AI applications.

• Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, curiosity, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to work efficiently under technical guidance and incorporate feedback.

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

• Current Microsoft certifications or Applied Skills in Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 agent development, or related technologies are preferred.

• Experience with GitHub Copilot coding agents, custom agents, reusable instructions or skills, or approved MCP integrations is preferred.

• Familiarity with building Microsoft 365 declarative or custom-engine agents and extending Microsoft 365 Copilot through supported skills, plugins, connectors, or APIs is preferred.

• Exposure to Microsoft Agent 365 governance, identity, observability, and security controls for enterprise agents is preferred.

• Experience with multiple model providers, containerized applications, or infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
