Associate Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete an immersive onboarding and training program.

• Work closely with a Lead Advisor to understand Root's financial planning methodologies.

• Attend client meetings to gain insights.

• Assist the Lead Advisor in preparing for client meetings.

• Identify the appropriate types of accounts to establish for clients.

• Interact with clients to request necessary documentation, address inquiries, and follow up post-meetings.

• Offer 401k recommendations tailored for clients.

• Achieve proficiency in Right Capital, Holistiplan, the CRM, and additional software tools.

• Deliver exceptional service to clients and Root team members.

• Prepare for advancement into a Lead Advisor position.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• A positive and enthusiastic demeanor.

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the financial planning sector.

• Familiarity with Dimensional Funds is advantageous.

• Experience with Right Capital and Holistiplan is beneficial.

• Preference given to candidates who have passed the CFP exam.
