Assistant Safety Manager – Texas Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform corporate-level safety audits on a thirty (30) day schedule.

• Evaluate and endorse project-specific safety plans, including Critical Lifts, LOTO, Confined Space, and Excavations that require pre-engineered systems.

• Detect and address systemic safety concerns.

• Assist project teams and field safety personnel.

• Cultivate strategic relationships that positively impact culture, engagement, and organizational results.

• Ensure project compliance with Mullins Mechanical standards throughout the auditing process.

• Confirm that projects are adequately staffed with Safety Coordinators and Safety Technicians according to contract requirements and to effectively oversee high-risk activities.

• Supervise the development of proper trade partnerships and ensure prequalification status before work begins.

• Oversee the effectiveness of Trade Partner pre-construction meetings, ensuring that trade partners have all necessary knowledge of site specifics prior to their start date.

• Track the implementation of corrective actions.

• Support training and continuous improvement efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• OSHA 30-Hour Certification.

• First Aid / CPR Certification.

• OSHA 510 Certification.

• At least five (5) years of experience or a minimum of one (1) year of company tenure.

• BCSP certification is required within one (1) year of promotion or hire.
