This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Assists the Program Director in providing administrative leadership for various aspects of program operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet objectives, both locally and throughout the academic program, aligning with the goals and policies of the University and professional accrediting organizations.
• Gather, prepare, and deliver outcome data and pertinent information regarding the program as mandated by the University and accreditation entities, while maintaining a systematic evaluation process.
• Engage, when requested, in the Program Director Council to aid in the formulation and execution of policies and procedures.
• Supervise and assess contributing faculty in areas pertinent to the professional program.
• Collaborate with program leadership to enhance curriculum quality, competency-based assessment, compliance with accreditation standards, continuous improvement efforts, and program evaluation activities.
• Oversee student matters within the program, addressing issues such as complaints, appeals, and misconduct.
• Participate in service and scholarly activities.
• Involved in marketing initiatives and other activities as a representative of the University.
• Active, unencumbered RN license and eligibility for licensure in states required by the academic program.
• National APRN certification and licensure are preferred.
• Earned doctoral degree in nursing, education, or a related field (DNP, PhD, EdD, or equivalent).
• A minimum of three years of experience in graduate nursing education is required; experience in graduate nursing program administration is preferred.
• Proficiency in curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation, including competency-based education and assessment strategies in advanced nursing education.
• Experience with program evaluation, outcomes assessment, and continuous quality improvement methods.
• Proven expertise with state, regional, and programmatic accreditation standards and processes, including CCNE, state higher education agencies, state boards of nursing, and national APRN certification requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, facilitation, and team-building skills.
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting academic, clinical, and program outcome data.
• Travel for university meetings, accreditation activities, faculty development, and other program-related needs.
• Reduced teaching workload to accommodate administrative responsibilities.
