Assistant Professor, PhD in Behavior Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assistant Professors are full-time faculty members who offer a range of educational services to learners pursuing degrees, certificates, and non-degree programs.

• Accountable for fulfilling the expectations and requirements of Capella University while fostering and maintaining effective relationships with students, colleagues, staff, and administration.

• Guarantee that learners experience quality education that aligns with established course outcomes, as well as HLC and any relevant program accreditation standards.

• Engage in teaching (online), mentoring, contributing to curriculum development, participating in school governance, and may engage in various other activities based on the university’s needs and the faculty member’s specific expertise.

• Consistently assess course feedback and implement enhancements to continually improve performance and enrich the learner's experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of teaching experience in an online environment is highly preferred.

• Required experience in teaching within higher education.

• Preferred experience in mentoring doctoral students.

• Preferred experience in curriculum writing.

• Membership or affiliation with an educational leadership organization at the national, regional, and/or local level.

• Proven dedication to service and practice within the field of educational leadership.

• Experience in leadership through team engagement.

• Evidence of supporting learner success and a commitment to achieving quality teaching outcomes.

• Capability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.

• Experience presenting at professional conferences at both the national and/or local levels.

• Background in scholarly writing and familiarity with APA 6th edition.
