This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Prepare, review, and submit assigned regulatory returns across all required frequencies, which includes portal uploads, approvals, and retention of submission evidence.
β’ Calculate and verify prudential metrics through movement analysis, reasonability checks, and reconciliation with the general ledger, source systems, and management information.
β’ Coordinate inputs from Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, Islamic Banking, and subsidiaries.
β’ Challenge discrepancies and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
β’ Implement maker-checker controls and maintain comprehensive documentation for mappings, assumptions, adjustments, reconciliations, and approvals.
β’ Monitor CBUAE and SCA requirements while coordinating updates to templates, validations, mappings, SOPs, checklists, and reporting calendars.
β’ Assist with regulatory, management, and audit inquiries.
β’ Address data-quality issues and control gaps.
β’ Promote automation, UAT, and process enhancements in collaboration with Technology and data teams.
β’ Foster relationships with stakeholders and manage priorities through escalation, handover, and business-continuity arrangements.
β’ Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audit requirements, including evidence provision, query resolution, and closure of observations.
β’ Mentor junior resources through work allocation, technical review, and knowledge sharing.
β’ Investigate reporting discrepancies, reconciliation breaks, data gaps, and interpretation issues.
β’ Identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and communicate complex matters effectively.
β’ Manage multiple deliverables through disciplined planning, prioritization, and escalation.
β’ CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
β’ Typically requires 7+ years of relevant banking experience.
β’ Familiarity with CBUAE requirements is essential.
β’ Knowledge of Basel capital concepts is required.
β’ Understanding of IFRS is necessary.
β’ Familiarity with banking products is important.
β’ Knowledge of general-ledger structures is needed.
β’ Understanding of regulatory-reporting controls is required.
β’ Advanced Excel skills for large data analysis and reconciliations are essential.
β’ Experience with regulatory reporting, data visualization, or automation tools is advantageous.
