Assistant Manager – QA, Corporate Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions regarding requirements with stakeholders, the Product Owner, and the team, while documenting specifications and acceptance criteria.

• Create and execute test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing, adhering to the methodology established by the Senior QA/BA.

• Assist in validating data pipelines and reports utilizing SQL and fundamental data analysis techniques.

• Record and monitor defects, ensuring comprehensive documentation and evidence for resolution.

• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results for compliance and audit purposes.

• Collaborate daily with developers, the Senior QA/BA, and other team members to facilitate effective communication.

• Approach daily testing challenges systematically, seeking assistance when necessary.

• Make informed decisions regarding test case structure, scenarios, and defect logging, escalating issues as required.

• Proactively enhance skills in test automation, data validation, and banking domain knowledge.

• Be a dependable team member, taking responsibility for tasks and managing workload within sprint timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or a related discipline.

• Up to 5 years of experience in QA, Business Analysis, or a hybrid role.

• Proficient in manual testing with some exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Postman, etc.).

• Working knowledge of SQL for database querying and data output verification.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, and the significance of documentation and traceability.

• Ability to engage in requirements discussions and take clear, concise notes.

• Comfortable inquiring and collaborating with business stakeholders.

• Eagerness to learn and develop competencies in test automation and data validation.

• Strong and honest communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.

• Experience in a regulated banking setting is a plus.
