This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Extract and analyze data from platforms like Technomic, Data Essential, Circana, and Nielsen to assist the Away from Home and Amazon team initiatives.
• Create consumer selling narratives based on the consumer segmentation framework as its data foundation.
• Produce actionable insights that drive behavior changes and pinpoint effective engagement strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly insights reports and presentations.
• Perform competitive analysis for AFH and conduct concept testing, providing reports on results and recommendations.
• Oversee custom data requests for National and Regional Account Managers (NAM/RAM).
• Keep track of industry trends and competitive movements, sharing insights with account teams.
• Assemble a comprehensive level of social intelligence to reveal rich cultural trends, snacking occasions, and brand opportunities.
• Continuously enhance business through data, monitoring, and learning.
• Collaborate with category management to maximize all data sources across Growth Channels and develop performance dashboards.
• Aid in creating customer-facing presentations for both commercial and non-commercial national, regional, and key accounts.
• Contribute to the development of internal presentations for leadership and brand equity teams.
• Educate and influence customers and internal teams on strategies to enhance category growth through Digital.
• Provide top-tier recommendations to foster sustainable category growth.
• Deliver action-driven insights on innovation, communication, and brand growth priorities to shopper, customer, and net revenue planning teams.
• Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the retail environment relevant to the geographic area of responsibility.
• Create exemplary POGs across various AFH verticals.
• Cultivate strong relationships across marketing, sales, growth channels, category management, and agency partners.
• Proactively convey project timelines, presentation schedules, and strategic updates to leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in presenting to retailer teams and in negotiation planning/joint business planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in category management, insights, marketing strategy, or analytics (preferably in CPG/FMCG, Amazon, or Away from Home).
• Familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g., Technomic, Circana, Nielsen, Data Essential).
• Proficiency in utilizing retailer/customer data, shopper insights, and analytics to formulate compelling retail customer plans.
• Strong analytical and storytelling capabilities, with a knack for transforming data into actionable insights.
• High proficiency in fundamental business tools (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Extensive experience in analyzing and visualizing large data sets.
• Previous experience in developing customer-facing presentations, with direct customer interaction experience being a plus.
• Experience in eCommerce/Omnichannel/Amazon is advantageous.
• Experience in the Away from Home sector is beneficial.
• JDA/POG building experience is a plus.
