This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee Omnissa’s legal support for its international partner network, which includes distribution, resale, and managed service providers.
• Act as the senior legal advisor and primary escalation point for global channel partner initiatives.
• Develop strategies for expanding legal support, including the creation of playbooks, templates, and contracting procedures.
• Spearhead automation and efficiency projects, incorporating AI-driven legal workflows.
• Draft, evaluate, and negotiate intricate channel partner agreements.
• Collaborate with business leaders as well as sales, finance, operations, and compliance teams.
• Review and update program terms, including program guides, participation agreements, and incentive structures.
• Provide practical, risk-based advice on contract interpretation, partner disputes, and enforcement of program terms.
• Work in conjunction with the Commercial Legal Team and the broader Omnissa Legal Team.
• Potentially establish and lead the partner legal team as the ecosystem expands.
• At least 15 years of legal practice experience.
• Extensive experience in supporting a global channel partner ecosystem through various market routes.
• Proven track record in developing channel partner programs and legal frameworks.
• Exceptional drafting and negotiation capabilities.
• Proficient in conveying complex legal and business concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong business acumen and ability to mitigate risks effectively.
• Proven leadership presence and trusted advisory skills with senior stakeholders.
• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• Collaborative approach with a strong history of building cross-functional relationships.
• Intellectual curiosity and sound judgment.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
• Admission to at least one state bar in the U.S. is required.
• Previous experience in building or leading a partner legal team is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.
