This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee and assist with export controls and trade compliance, encompassing DDTC registration, CFIUS, classification analyses, license assistance, and technology control plans.
β’ Deliver clear and actionable legal advice on export controls, procurement regulations, compliance matters, and related legal issues to align with corporate objectives.
β’ Analyze, draft, and negotiate government contracts, proposals, and FAR/DFARS flow-down clauses.
β’ Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including partnerships and licensing arrangements.
β’ Contribute to the development and enhancement of policies, procedures, templates, and training programs.
β’ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
β’ Significant and relevant legal experience, particularly in export controls, international trade, government contracts, or regulatory compliance.
β’ Practical knowledge of ITAR and familiarity with FAR; eagerness to expand expertise.
β’ Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills, combined with a practical, business-focused mindset.
β’ Effective communication skills and the ability to engage directly with senior leadership in a dynamic, cross-functional setting.
β’ This role necessitates access to export-controlled information; therefore, applicants must qualify as a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR (22 C.F.R. Β§ 120.62), which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and certain protected individuals.
