This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Perform compliance monitoring field assessments for stormwater and other regulated waters, including inspections for erosion and sediment control.
• Aid in data compilation and the preparation of weekly reports and permitting documents as instructed by Task Managers and Project Managers.
• Carry out construction inspections, monitor erosion control, and handle environmental marking and staking.
• Support field data collection efforts and conduct wetland delineations.
• Must be open to working flexible hours and overtime as necessary.
• Receive technical training aimed at career advancement.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Ecology, Engineering, Biology, or Environmental Science; an advanced degree is advantageous.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting practices, with a focus on environmental science, ecology, or construction inspection services.
• Proficient technical writing skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities are required.
• Willingness to travel within Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky is necessary, and extended field assignments may occur.
• Technical expertise in natural resources and field assessment methodologies is required.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in monitoring erosion and sedimentation control as well as conducting construction inspections on linear projects.
• Capability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Aptitude to effectively present information and address inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
