This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +12 more states.
• Oversee and develop frontline managers, team leaders, and staff within revenue cycle operations.
• Supervise daily activities to ensure that performance standards, productivity goals, and service levels are achieved.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Guarantee the precise and prompt execution of billing, cash posting, collections, accounts receivable follow-up, and denial management.
• Monitor the distribution of workflow and allocate resources to meet client demands.
• Report any operational risks or issues to senior leadership.
• Identify areas of inefficiency and suggest process enhancements.
• Aid in the implementation of standard workflows, policies, and best practices.
• Support initiatives aimed at automation and optimization, including technology and AI-driven solutions.
• Maintain relationships with client contacts and operational leaders.
• Participate in client meetings and deliver updates on performance and initiatives.
• Address client concerns promptly and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and financial results.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Identify trends and propose corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, payer regulations, and billing/coding standards.
• Support quality assurance programs and audits.
• Assist with corrective actions for any compliance discrepancies.
• Aid in maintaining budget compliance, staffing levels, productivity, and operational expenses.
• Assist in forecasting and monitoring performance in the revenue cycle against established targets.
• Optimize revenue cycle systems and workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve system issues and enhance functionality.
• Encourage effective utilization of reporting and operational tools.
• Support the onboarding and training of new employees.
• Contribute to ongoing educational initiatives.
• Mentor managers and staff members.
• Provide operational expertise during sales discussions and client presentations.
• Collect data and insights for proposals and service enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 7 years in healthcare revenue cycle services within a hospital setting.
• At least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Familiarity with multiple EHR systems such as MEDHOST, Oracle/Cerner, Meditech, or EPIC revenue cycle software products and their applications.
• Demonstrated skills in client relationship management.
• Experience with multi-facility organizations, including rural health or community hospitals.
• Willingness to travel to hospital locations or events as needed, up to 25% of the time.
• Understanding of hospital operations and clinical/financial processes.
• Exceptional written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong judgment, detail-oriented, organized, capable of multitasking, problem-solving, and able to work independently.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and lead projects within the designated focus area.
• Flexible, with a "can-do" attitude, and able to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
• Capacity to retain and protect confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
• Preference will be given to candidates available to work in EST or CST time zones.
