• Assist in maintaining a high-quality, scalable, and well-regulated finance function.
• Collaborate with the Controller to oversee a timely, accurate, and well-coordinated monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing process.
• Provide high-quality management reporting, including variance analysis and trend insights.
• Enhance and uphold internal controls, documentation, and review procedures.
• Effectively coordinate with external auditors and internal partners.
• Identify and facilitate the implementation of opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate accounting workflows.
• Act as a trusted finance partner for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to building a high-performing accounting function by reinforcing expectations and managing team members as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting; an active U.S. CPA license is mandatory.
• 6–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within professional services, consulting, advisory, or other complex environments.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and close management, with experience in supporting audits and functioning in an audit-ready control environment.
• Proven ability to enhance internal controls, improve processes, and minimize manual work through thoughtful system or workflow enhancements.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment, with the capability to identify risks, investigate variances, and proactively resolve issues.
• Clear and confident communicator with a practical, collaborative approach; experience in coaching or mentoring others is highly preferred.
