This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the review of clinical data and preparation of cases under guidance.
• Utilize structured workflows to evaluate phenotype-genotype correlations and assess clinical features with standardized resources.
• Contribute to variant classification by collecting evidence and conducting initial literature searches.
• Prepare necessary documentation and maintain updates in internal databases.
• Support report editing and perform routine administrative duties.
• Engage in team discussions and participate in training sessions.
• Commit to ongoing education and professional growth.
• Extract clinical information from patient records as required.
• Meet established productivity, performance, and accuracy benchmarks.
• Carry out additional responsibilities assigned to assist the team or department.
• A Master’s degree from an accredited genetic counseling program; alternatively, a Master’s or PhD in Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related discipline with pertinent clinical experience, or an MD/DO with proven expertise in human genetics.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively across functions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in internal systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Professional-level skills in mathematical reasoning, computer literacy, and language-based communication.
• Board-eligible status or active certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling for Genetic Counselors.
• Required licensure in the state of employment, if applicable.
• Submission of a cover letter is necessary for consideration.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet and a suitable remote work environment.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods, repetitively use hands and fingers for typing and mouse activities, read computer screens and documents, communicate via phone and video calls, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
