Assistant Asbestos Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Guarantee that both licensed and unlicensed asbestos operations are conducted safely, punctually, and in adherence to cost and quality standards, legislation, industry best practices, and internal procedures.

• Oversee and execute less complex licensed and unlicensed asbestos projects as necessary.

• Offer expertise and knowledge regarding asbestos removal to demolition, remediation, and business development teams.

• Collaborate with Business Development, Account Management, and Bids and Offers teams on asbestos-related tender submissions.

• Provide technical consultancy and input related to asbestos removal for bids and tenders.

• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and the HSE regarding compliance issues.

• Travel to various locations throughout the UK to assist with project execution.

• Expertise in both licensed and unlicensed asbestos removal.

• Extensive knowledge of legislation, HSE regulations, and industry best practices.

• Capability to lead and manage asbestos projects within specified timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.

• Experience in providing asbestos expertise across demolition, remediation, and business development sectors.

• Proven track record of contributing technical insights to bid responses and tender applications.

• Effective communication skills with clients, stakeholders, and HSE on compliance-related matters.

• Willingness to travel to sites across the UK.

• Ability to work away from home when necessary.
