Assessment Scientist – Masters in Psychology, Psychometrists

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the scientific aspects of eCOA implementation, ensuring precise translation of endpoint scales into digital platforms while fully adhering to protocol and scoring standards.

• Spearhead the development and assessment of eCOA specifications, collaborating with vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality system designs that meet specific needs.

• Take ownership of the UAT strategy, including the creation and evaluation of test scripts to verify endpoint logic, workflows, and data integrity.

• Direct the end-to-end execution of UAT, proactively identifying and addressing issues to guarantee successful system deployment and study preparedness.

• Lead the strategy for global licensing and copyright, ensuring compliant and efficient utilization of clinical outcome assessments.

• Ensure the correct selection of scales, version management, and implementation in accordance with protocol-defined endpoints.

• Supervise the translation strategy and vendor performance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally appropriate tools across various regions.

• Promote consistency among source scales, translations, and eCOA/eCRF implementations to maintain endpoint integrity.

• Create and implement custom rater training programs to ensure high-quality, standardized endpoint data collection at all sites.

• Establish rater qualification standards and assist in the selection of experienced, study-ready site personnel.

• Develop and roll out engaging training and certification initiatives to ensure consistency in scale administration and scoring.

• Monitor rater performance and lead targeted interventions to minimize variability and uphold endpoint reliability.


⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate degree (e.g., MA/MS) in psychology, behavioral sciences, or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with psychiatric and neuropsychiatric assessments, including patient-reported outcome measures.

• Previous experience in rating psychiatric and/or neuropsychiatric assessments is preferred.

• Experience in the clinical research or pharmaceutical sectors.

• Exceptional planning and organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing and multitasking.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade.

• Excellent presentation skills, with experience in professional speaking engagements.

• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 20%).
