Asia Campaign Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee innovative campaigns targeting businesses and sectors that exploit animals.

• Plan and participate in street-theater-style demonstrations across Asia.

• Manage campaigns and initiatives within the Asia office, collaborating with PETA affiliates worldwide to garner support for our efforts.

• Develop attention-grabbing viral videos, websites, and other engaging online campaigns to raise awareness of animal rights issues.

• Create impactful advertising campaigns and additional materials that promote animal rights or encourage companies to change their practices.

• Generate media exposure for our initiatives through protests, celebrity endorsements, and other channels.

• Serve as a PETA spokesperson by assisting with interviews for local and regional television, radio, newspapers, and magazines throughout Asia.

• A deep passion for combating animal cruelty and a commitment to PETA’s mission (applicants must be vegan).

• A strong willingness to engage in provocative campaigns.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• An outgoing and personable demeanor.

• A supportive stance towards PETA Asia’s philosophy and the capability to professionally advocate for its positions on various issues.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• A comprehensive understanding of animal rights issues is preferred.

• Ability to interact patiently with the media.

• Must be located in an Asian time zone to work effectively with the team.
