This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• The Art Supervisor (AS) plays a vital role within the creative team, taking full charge of concept and art/design development for a variety of projects that differ in complexity and scope.
• The AS acts as a direct link between the creative team and junior/mid-level account members, concentrating on fulfilling both strategic and creative expectations.
• The AS possesses a thorough understanding of FDA regulations and the requirements for pharmaceutical promotion across all communication channels.
• Furthermore, the AS has an in-depth knowledge of marketing and advertising principles essential for ensuring that work reaches its full potential, complies with brand standards, and guarantees a consistent brand experience across all platforms.
• The AS adeptly presents and advocates for work both internally and externally as needed.
• The AS demonstrates leadership skills by overseeing the workload of direct reports and intervening when necessary to maintain quality and meet deadlines.
• The AS is crucial in guiding and enhancing design/art direction throughout the team.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience working with pharmaceutical clients is required, with a preference for experience supporting HCP accounts.
• The ability to lead and enhance art/design efforts across the team, adding value in all aspects.
• Skilled at providing constructive feedback to junior-level creatives, advancing the creative process from both a copy and art perspective.
• Strong conceptual skills with the capability to offer a diverse range of creative solutions for every project.
• Leads art direction across projects of varying scope, complexity, and channels to create a unified brand experience that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Proficient in estimating individual hours (for oneself and direct reports) for various projects.
• Ability to employ advanced design principles to simplify complex scientific information into compelling and clear data visualizations for our brands.
• Expertise in file-building and management best practices, as well as familiarity with The One Intouch Process.
• Recognizes the significance of utilization and strives to meet targets for themselves and their direct reports.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and a commitment to integrating them into our work.
• Mentors and nurtures junior team members, enhancing their designs and expanding their industry knowledge.
• Expanding understanding of our clients’ businesses and the impact of our work on those businesses.
• Actively collaborates with planning, UX, and development to ensure team alignment.
• Cultivates strong relationships with creative, account management, product management, production, studio, and cross-functional team members.
• Confidently presents and advocates for ideas to our clients.
• Willingly participates in new business initiatives.
• Mastery in creating multichannel creative work (within portfolio) that showcases strong conceptual thinking, strategic and business acumen, and well-crafted designs.
• A diverse range of industry experience, including product launches, label updates, and more.
• Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
