This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of and oversee multiple projects at once, ensuring that timelines, deliverables, and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.
• Guide projects from initial concept to final production, actively participating in ideation, hands-on execution, and art direction while upholding outstanding creative quality and craftsmanship.
• Create integrated campaigns and visual experiences that align with brand strategy, client goals, and objectives for audience engagement.
• Convert customer insights, clinical data, and market trends into visual communications across various mediums including print, digital, social, and omnichannel experiences.
• Collaborate with copy leads, developers, and cross-functional teams to develop content hierarchy, visual narratives, and strategically sound creative solutions that balance innovation, scientific accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure a consistent visual language across all channels and anticipate the brand implications of creative choices and revisions.
• Foster creative thinking, advocate for emerging technologies and best practices, and contribute to a collaborative creative environment.
• Present creative concepts to internal teams and clients, clearly articulating the strategic rationale and visual strategies.
• Mentor and guide Art Directors and Designers through art direction, feedback, and collaborative project planning.
• Work autonomously on projects of varying scopes, integrating feedback efficiently and delivering high-quality output with minimal revisions.
• Report to the Group Art Supervisor or Associate Creative Director.
• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in an advertising agency; experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing is preferred.
• A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, art direction, and the development of integrated campaigns across print, digital, social, and omnichannel platforms.
• Exceptional skills in visual storytelling, with a solid understanding of branding, typography, layout, and design principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across different functions, with the ability to clearly articulate creative rationale to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and cultivate creative talent while managing multiple projects within a fast-paced agency setting.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• A working knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory review processes, including FDA, OPDP, PAAB, and ASC.
• Familiarity with emerging AI-powered creative tools is a plus.
