This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Support the selection of art pieces that align with the design vision and client preferences, which includes sourcing, researching, and proposing suitable artworks.
• Keep abreast of the latest art trends, movements, and up-and-coming artists to offer relevant recommendations and insights for client projects.
• Perform research on art pieces, artists, and movements to deliver well-informed recommendations.
• Engage directly with clients concerning art selections, updates, and recommendations, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations surpassed.
• Create and prepare professional presentations to display curated art selections to clients, featuring high-quality visuals, descriptions, and mood boards.
• Maintain comprehensive records of art pieces, encompassing inventory management, pricing, and client preferences. Update and oversee databases related to artworks, vendors, and budget.
• Bachelor's degree in Studio Art, Fine Arts, Art History, Interior Design, or a related area (equivalent experience may be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree).
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within art and design, along with an understanding of various styles, mediums, and artistic movements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) for formatting presentations, editing art, and tracking data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and preparation of presentations.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of current art trends and familiarity with contemporary artists is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a curatorial, design, or art-related field is strongly preferred, but not mandatory.
• Experience with photography and art installation processes is a plus.
• A network of connections with artists, galleries, and art suppliers is beneficial.
