This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee assigned legal matters from initial intake to resolution, tailored to the specific practice area and requirements of the firm.
• Perform legal research and evaluate statutes, regulations, case law, and other pertinent legal authorities.
• Draft, review, and modify legal documents, pleadings, motions, correspondence, agreements, and various filings.
• Prepare cases along with necessary documentation for hearings, negotiations, litigation, or other legal proceedings.
• Engage professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, government agencies, and other pertinent parties.
• Examine case files to identify relevant facts, legal issues, risks, and subsequent steps.
• Maintain precise and organized case records and documentation.
• Track case deadlines, court dates, filing requirements, and other critical milestones.
• Provide clients with clear and thorough explanations concerning their legal matters and available options.
• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and other members of the legal team.
• Ensure that all work aligns with the applicable Arizona and U.S. laws, court rules, ethical standards, and firm procedures.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while consistently meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Utilize legal technology and case management systems to document, monitor, and manage work efficiently.
• Active license to practice law in the State of Arizona.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school.
• Proven experience practicing law within the United States.
• Deep understanding of Arizona laws, court procedures, and relevant legal rules.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and an ability to produce precise legal work.
• Capability to independently manage cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting.
• Proficient with standard legal technology, document management systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
• Preferred: Experience working for a U.S. law firm.
• Preferred: Background in a client-facing legal role.
• Preferred: Familiarity with legal case management software such as Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, or similar platforms.
• Preferred: Experience with litigation, hearings, negotiations, or courtroom proceedings.
• Preferred: Experience managing a substantial caseload with limited supervision.
• Preferred: Strong knowledge of Arizona courts and legal procedures.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
