This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Account Managers.
• Provide field-based coaching through joint calls and in-hospital support.
• Own regional sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting, conducting ongoing performance management and contributing to compensation plan design and quota setting.
• Convert national strategy into actionable plans at the regional, territory, and account levels that align with launch objectives.
• Drive the execution of regional launches, including site activation, surgeon adoption, and achieving quarterly revenue and unit targets.
• Identify, develop, and nurture regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and centers of excellence in orthopedic infection management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Training, and Operations to ensure aligned execution.
• Act as the voice of the field, providing insights that shape strategy and decision-making.
• Ensure team compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
• Over 8 years of commercial experience selling medical devices, biologics, or specialty pharmaceuticals in hospital and surgical settings, with documented success in meeting quotas.
• At least 3 years of first-line sales leadership experience directly managing W-2 sales representatives in a direct sales model. Experience managing independent distributors, 1099 reps, or third-party channel partners does not meet this requirement.
• Proven experience in launch leadership as a first-line manager during new product launches (from pre-launch readiness to the first 24 months of commercialization), preferably within a pre-commercial or early commercial-stage company.
• Strong preference for individuals with orthopedic and operating room sales experience, including established relationships with orthopedic surgeons, infectious disease specialists, and hospital decision-makers (e.g., Pharmacy & Therapeutics & Value Analysis Committees).
• Exceptional capability to translate complex scientific data into actionable clinical insights that foster trust with surgeons, pharmacists, and infectious disease specialists.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

• Demonstrated success in specialty product launches, ideally within rare diseases, orthopedics, infectious diseases, or other complex, hospital-based therapeutic areas.
• High degree of agility and resilience, with the ability to operate effectively amidst ambiguity, rapidly reprioritize, and drive progress in a fast-paced, pre-commercial or startup setting.
