
Area Vice President, DACH – Enterprise Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Acquire new Enterprise clients and logos with the backing of marketing, sales engineering, and business development teams.
• Design, lead, and implement innovative business campaigns throughout the region.
• Assist the team in developing and executing complex deals that generate business value and ROI for customers.
• Engage in closing deals with targeted Enterprise accounts while promoting Enterprise business initiatives for future regional success.
• Attract, recruit, and retain top talent for the Enterprise Sales team.
• Build and cultivate a high-performing team using data and operational rigor (such as close rates, pipeline coverage, time to close, win rates, forecasting, etc.).
• Establish and maintain executive and senior-level client relationships.
• Represent our customers' product requirements in various internal and external forums.
• Support DocuSign’s diverse Resell, Strategic, and Systems Integrator partners.
• Manage sales opportunities in conjunction with Partners, Strategic and Systems Integrator partners, and Resellers within the region.
• Collaborate with business partners across Solutions Consulting, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Business Development, and Partners to ensure alignment on the go-to-market strategy.
• Ensure the achievement of quarterly pipeline, bookings, and retention goals set for the region.
• Plan and manage operations at both strategic and operational levels.
• Prioritize the successful implementation of the DocuSign platform and services within our customer base.
• BA/BS degree in a business or technical-related discipline.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Over 15 years of experience in field sales management at a senior leadership level within a matrixed sales environment in the enterprise software sector.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and revenue targets.
• Experience selling to enterprise-level clients with established C-suite relationships.
• Capability to drive and enhance team performance through metric management and dashboards.
• Proficiency in forecasting and reporting.
• Experience in leading, attracting, retaining, and developing high-performing talent through assessment, selection, onboarding, coaching, and development.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other contact center management systems.
