This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Embrace a “own the number” mindset to meet the company’s KPIs for the region.
• Sell and implement additional display space across the designated territory.
• Enhance shelf space and merchandise products and displays to foster sales growth.
• Increase brand awareness among consumers through point-of-sale materials and effective execution of in-store promotions.
• Take every chance to educate consumers in-store about what distinguishes our brand as the best in its category.
• Ensure product quality, rotate stock, and remove any damaged packaging.
• Keep back stock organized and properly rotated.
• Proficiently and accurately use CRM applications to document daily activities and display executions.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key in-store contacts to secure additional display opportunities.
• Provide consistent service to the assigned account base with intentional follow-up (approximately 8-12 stops per day).
• Develop and plan weekly account visits based on specific business requirements.
• Understand customer needs and identify how to collaborate effectively to promote sales growth for both the store and Spindrift.
• Achieve mutually beneficial agreements through effective negotiation skills.
• Recognize the significance of establishing trust and credibility with accounts.
• Support and foster a culture that aligns with the overall organization and emphasizes the company’s values.
• Collaborate with teammates and coworkers on various strategic initiatives throughout the year.
• Exhibit a “carry the bag” mentality by being willing to do whatever is necessary to grow the brand, including conducting demos, building displays, and participating in market blitzes outside of the home territory.
• 1-5 years of experience in the beverage or consumer packaged goods sector.
• Sales experience across various retail channels, including Grocery, Mass, Natural & Drug.
• Demonstrated track record of sales success.
• Ability to lift 20lbs consistently throughout the day to build Spindrift displays of 100 cases or more.
• Must have and be willing to use a personal vehicle for travel to and from accounts.
• Willingness to travel overnight occasionally based on business needs.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Self-motivated with a competitive spirit.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willing to do whatever it takes to complete tasks, including working long and flexible hours, with occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Serve as a role model for the company’s culture.
