This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for driving sales, margin, and profitable growth within the sales territory of Germany or DACH.

• The primary focus of the role is the active acquisition of new customers and targeted market development.

• Expand existing key accounts among processors, trading partners, distributors, and project customers.

• Develop and execute a regional sales and market approach strategy.

• Engage in price, terms, and contract negotiations at the decision-maker and management levels.

• Launch and introduce new products to the market in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.

• Analyze market potentials, competitors, customer developments, and the sales pipeline using the CRM system.

• Manage sales activities from initial contact to closing, both in field sales and remotely.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product management, inside sales, and international contacts.

• Participate in regular travel within the DACH region.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in business, engineering, or a comparable qualification is required.

• Several years of experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or Sales Engineer in technical B2B sales.

• Ideally, an industry background in one or more of the following areas: water, wastewater, and drainage systems (e.g., municipal infrastructure, civil engineering, sewer construction).

• Proven track record as an active sales professional with a hunter mentality, focusing on acquiring new customers and markets rather than just account maintenance.

• Strong skills in negotiation, closing deals, and building relationships.

• Technical understanding is beneficial but not mandatory; product-specific training will be provided internally.

• An entrepreneurial mindset along with an independent, structured, and goal-oriented work approach.

• Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office.

• Fluent in German and English for effective communication in both national and international settings.

• Must reside in Germany and be willing to travel regularly within the DACH region.
