This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Business Development – tasked with enhancing the company's footprint in France and Northern Italy.
• Account Management – manage key accounts across all functional levels, including purchasing, logistics, engineering/technology, and after-sales.
• Market Intelligence – ensure ongoing insights into customer technology demands and competitor movements.
• Customer Landscape Modeling – develop and maintain a current “Customer Landscape Model” featuring all pertinent stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Project Pipeline Management – identify, prioritize, and concentrate on significant opportunities within the project pipeline.
• Commercial Management – oversee existing and future agreements, including pricing, terms, and commercial conditions.
• Order Acquisition – secure orders in alignment with budget, forecasts, and recognized opportunities.
• Customer Support – furnish customers with all necessary information pertaining to each opportunity.
• Offer Preparation – prepare and deliver quotations and proposals to clients.
• Customer Visits – perform regular visits to clients to enhance relationships and bolster business development efforts.
• Specification Evaluation – assess and analyze customer specifications and requirements.
• A successful completion of technical or business/economics studies, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in account management and within project- or engineering-driven business settings.
• A background in marketing and business development.
• Capability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment and within international business frameworks.
• Strong skills in escalation management.
• Knowledge of the transport and/or public sector.
• Understanding of the company’s products and portfolio.
• High level of proficiency in the application of telematics, networking, and other relevant technical solutions in public transportation.
• Comprehensive understanding of how large public transport systems function.
• Familiarity with relevant operational processes.
• Awareness of market dynamics.
• Understanding of typical customer requirements.
