This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Ensure the business remains profitable within the designated market area.
• Oversee the successful operation of the market.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations of business outcomes while implementing necessary organizational changes.
• Enforce organizational policies and ensure their proper execution.
• Guide the business towards meeting budgetary goals and other planned financial and non-financial KPIs.
• Ensure all operations comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Make decisions that align with the business objectives of the Segment and the Business Unit.
• Analyze market trends and conditions, including sales, turnover, and contribution margins.
• Define the requirements for the product portfolio.
• Execute the sales strategy within the assigned business area, focusing on specific customer groups.
• Manage customer acquisition and handle contracts/business proposals.
• Conduct commercial negotiations in accordance with segment strategy.
• Maintain customer expectations while adhering to corporate standards.
• Address customer issues and specific requests as they arise.
• Develop and sustain strategic, cooperative relationships with customers in the designated business area to support the segment strategy.
• Align customer demands with corporate standards.
• Ensure effective customer relationship management within compliance boundaries.
• Represent the regional business to key stakeholders, major customers, industry associations, international trading groups, government entities, and similar organizations to safeguard the interests of the Segment/Business Unit/Division/Continental AG.
• Represent ContiTech PTG / ContiTech / Continental AG at customer events within the assigned business area.
• Implement and uphold the Continental Values within the organization.
• Ensure adherence to standards and quality guidelines (both internal and external), fostering quality awareness and meeting customer quality targets.
• Uphold the Continental Code of Conduct and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Experience in Sales & Marketing through Channel Networks and End Users for Industrial & Automotive Aftermarket products.
