This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Drive the sales of Biotage instruments and consumables, which include flash chromatography systems, microwave and peptide synthesizers, solvent and nitrogen evaporators, automated sample preparation, plasmid purification, and scale-up systems.
• Provide post-sales assistance and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to fulfill customer requirements and achieve account growth.
• Establish and nurture robust B2B relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Identify and qualify new leads, cultivate Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and finalize deals through technical presentations and negotiations.
• Represent Biotage at conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and various marketing events.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasts and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
• Showcase systems and products to emphasize business value and differentiation.
• Effectively manage demo resources and accessories.
• Keep thorough documentation of sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce.com.
• Generate quotes and finalize agreements within authorized pricing limits.
• Submit timely standard and ad hoc reports as necessary.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• MBA/PGDBM in Marketing is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in direct sales and service within the chemical/biological sciences domain.
• Strong comprehension of the Indian market and customer landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and address customer needs with tailored solutions.
• Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and the MS Office suite.
