This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Lead teams and foster cross-functional collaborations with surgeons and operating room stakeholders to enhance the adoption of Restrata® and its associated products.
• Propel clinical education, customer engagement, and operational excellence.
• Formulate and implement regional business plans to meet revenue objectives while controlling expenses and maintaining optimal sales-to-expense ratios.
• Guide, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving sales team through effective communication, field engagement, performance evaluations, and professional growth opportunities.
• Recruit, select, and establish a sales organization, including distributor networks where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and laws governing interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Provide senior leadership with valuable insights regarding sales performance, market trends, competitive dynamics, and field-driven opportunities.
• Engage in field activities alongside representatives, customers, and other sales professionals, which may include occasional weekends and overnight travel.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university with 5+ years of sales experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales.
• OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution combined with a minimum of 9+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or medical field sales as a substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Prior experience with Value Analysis Committees and/or trial approvals in both commercial and federal facilities is required.
• A current, valid Driver’s License is necessary.
• Must successfully pass a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
• Maintain ongoing eligibility under Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy acknowledgment.
• Previous experience in medical device sales calling on surgeons within hospital systems and supporting surgical procedures in the operating room.
• At least 1 year of formal leadership experience is required.
• Ability to independently manage time and priorities while swiftly adapting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including people management, conflict resolution, and project coordination capabilities.
• Proficient analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience in building and sustaining relationships with physicians and surgical staff.
• Proficient negotiation, selling, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Concur is necessary.
• May be required to possess licenses, vaccinations, and/or additional credentials mandated by healthcare or third-party facilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status.
