This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Lead, motivate, and provide support to field service supervisors and technicians within the designated territory.
• Ensure that customer expectations are not only met but exceeded, while upholding high-quality work standards.
• Initiate, establish, monitor, and finalize service agreements and projects punctually, achieving or surpassing the planned gross profit.
• Oversee the initiation of new service agreements, technician assignments, equipment labeling, startup reports, safety issues, training, efficiency enhancements, and startup meetings.
• Establish preventive maintenance tasks, assess load leveling, ensure timely completion of PM tasks, and coordinate planning and scheduling with dispatch.
• Analyze agreement performance reports, service resolutions, cost assessments, coverage inquiries, service report inaccuracies, invoices, and additional billing items.
• Prepare recommendations for renewals, investigate customer complaints and invoice discrepancies, and assist with collection efforts.
• Equip field staff with necessary materials, directions, tools, and logistical support to optimize labor output.
• Review operational policies and procedures, proposing corrective actions where necessary.
• Assist leadership in approving maintenance and project pricing.
• Coach and guide field service supervisors, fostering delegation, empowerment, teamwork, and adherence to standard work practices.
• Recruit technicians, facilitate their development, monitor their performance, and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Create technician training schedules, maintain training records, and manage skills matrices.
• Provide support to maintenance sales representatives, customer relationship managers, CARE representatives, and service project teams.
• Engage in departmental meetings, operational reviews, budgeting and operational planning, and management of agreement spend plans.
• Act as a technical resource for sales, purchasing, dispatch, and business systems.
• Promote and maintain a safe and Lean working environment.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role that involves leading direct reports, or relevant experience in leading peers and teams.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration and/or heating and air conditioning systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Capability to multitask and transition between office duties and fieldwork as necessary.
• High level of organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to communicate transparently and honestly at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in conflict resolution and generating win/win outcomes.
• Competent with computer systems and digital tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to cultivate financial and budgeting competencies.
