Area Pricing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales management to develop and uphold pricing strategies specific to the area that align with the organization’s objectives and market conditions.

• Ensure local practices are in sync with corporate standards and goals.

• Implement, maintain, and oversee customer pricing records to guarantee accuracy, profitability, and efficiency.

• Provide education and support to sales associates aimed at enhancing gross profit and minimizing price overrides.

• Assess the effectiveness of pricing programs and offer recommendations for ongoing enhancement.

• Deliver analyses on pricing performance to the sales team.

• Partner with stakeholders during RFQ/RFP processes to create local pricing strategies.

• Process customer price updates in SAP as requested by the sales team.

• Act as a liaison between the chargeback department and sales associates, offering support and gathering necessary pricing information.

• Proactively work with the sales team to reduce overrides while safeguarding and enhancing gross margin.

• Utilize critical thinking to address pricing challenges in conjunction with the sales team.

• Assist with special projects as assigned.

• Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives for pricing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Solid foundational knowledge of pricing structures and techniques.

• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Preferred: Experience with SAP OTC (Order to Cash), SAP Pricing, Vistex Modules, Power BI, and AI.

• Ability to juggle competing priorities and collaborate across all organizational levels.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills; consistently meets deadlines.

• Results-oriented; operates effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
