
Area Operations Manager – Maintenance Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with utilities, plant operators, and industrial power generation clients within the designated area.
• Discover forthcoming maintenance opportunities and contribute to TEiC’s regional growth objectives.
• Engage in RFQ assessments and provide recommendations for bid or no-bid decisions.
• Create project estimates utilizing TEiC's estimating tools and templates.
• Review and endorse estimates for projects within the designated area.
• Manage the transition from estimates to formal proposals through TEiC's commercial procedures.
• Oversee TEiC maintenance projects in the assigned region.
• Track project performance concerning safety, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Identify project risks and execute corrective measures as necessary.
• Deliver project status updates and operational insights to senior management.
• Guide and support project leadership teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Engineers.
• Assess the effectiveness of project leadership and promote continuous improvement throughout the area.
• Take part in staffing and leadership development decisions.
• Ensure all operational, financial, and commercial reporting obligations are fulfilled accurately and punctually.
• Experience in supporting maintenance projects in power generation.
• Strong expertise in estimating, project execution, and managing customer relationships.
• Proven comprehension of project controls and risk management practices.
• Technical proficiency in power plant systems and significant power generation equipment.
• Demonstrated capability to lead multiple projects and teams across a region.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic project environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness and capability to travel to project sites as necessary.
• Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in field engineering, project management, or similar positions in support of industrial or power generation projects.
