This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee the creation and execution of revenue management and commercial strategy initiatives across various properties in the portfolio.
• Perform regular reviews and analyses of key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of revenue management strategies and pinpoint areas needing enhancement.
• Work in collaboration with property general managers, sales directors, and marketing managers to design and implement integrated sales and marketing campaigns that foster revenue growth and improve market positioning.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor pricing, and demand factors to modify pricing strategies and maximize revenue potential for each property.
• Examine historical data, booking trends, and demand forecasts to make well-informed decisions regarding pricing, inventory distribution, and allocation strategies.
• Leverage revenue management systems and tools to create reports, monitor performance metrics, and discover opportunities for revenue optimization across the area.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and other distribution partners to enhance visibility and reach for all properties.
• Collaborate with property teams to negotiate and manage contracts with group clients, corporate accounts, and other significant revenue-generating clients.
• Remain updated on emerging trends, industry changes, and technological advancements in revenue management and commercial strategy, integrating relevant insights into area-wide initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in hotel revenue management and the development of commercial strategies, with a proven record of success in a leadership or managerial capacity is essential.
• Expertise in Hilton and Marriott revenue management systems is mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing revenue strategy across multiple properties or regions within a hotel or hospitality group is required.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the capacity to interpret complex data, recognize trends, and formulate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Proficiency in revenue management software, commercial strategy tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, focusing on driving revenue growth and meeting business objectives.
• Leadership qualities with the capability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals and objectives.
• Adaptability to changing market conditions and business priorities, along with the willingness to take initiative and lead change efforts.
• Understanding of industry regulations, revenue management principles, and best practices in commercial strategy.
• Previous experience in a diverse and multicultural hospitality setting is advantageous.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to implement complex initiatives within set timelines and budget constraints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• An advanced degree or professional certification in revenue management or commercial strategy is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Highly competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 based on experience.
