Area Director – Franchise Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct both on-site and virtual consultations to enhance hotel-level execution related to financial performance, guest experience, operations, owner engagement, and brand standards.

• Act as a trusted advisor to hotel owners, operators, and management companies, facilitating the adoption of the midscale operating model and promoting brand-aligned performance outcomes.

• Utilize performance dashboards, competitive intelligence, and analytical tools to pinpoint opportunities and influence decision-making processes.

• Propose and implement strategies that enhance revenue, guest satisfaction, profitability, and cost efficiency at both property and portfolio levels.

• Ensure the implementation of recommendations through coaching, follow-up consultations, and ongoing communication with property stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with Revenue Management, Commercial Strategy, and other internal teams to align and execute targeted strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, preferably within the midscale or upper-midscale segments.

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in the hotel industry, ideally with multi-unit or franchise performance responsibilities.

• Proven capability to drive performance outcomes through data-driven decision-making, analytics, and operational expertise.

• Strong skills in analysis, forecasting, and budget management.

• Ability to work autonomously while managing complex issues, synthesizing data, and influencing stakeholders effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and performance measurement tools (e.g., CoSTAR, Medallia, Tableau, Salesforce).
