Area Construction Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Recruits and trains construction managers within their Division to align with the strategic business plan.

• Conducts daily inspections of neighborhoods and homes as part of a routine process to guarantee that cleanliness, quality, safety, and adherence to schedules meet the company’s standards.

• Monitors the ongoing progress of all homes in production each day to achieve the Division’s production targets or resolves challenges that arise.

• Assesses construction methods and job specifications to ensure that the highest quality construction is consistently delivered by all our trades and vendors.

• Holds weekly meetings with division staff to confirm that accurate home closing dates are established and met according to the business plan.

• Provides training to division construction managers as new staff members are onboarded, as well as during monthly construction meetings on safety and technical topics.

• Ensures proper subcontractor assignments to maintain adherence to schedules, quality, and safety.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in a management role within the Residential Construction Industry.

• At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally with a focus on production in the first-time home buyer segment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification, accreditation, or relevant job experience.
