This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and cultivate all colleagues in the area according to their respective roles.
• Consistently showcase Solution Coaching capabilities.
• Drive the business activities and initiatives of the area Account Managers (AM) and Executive Account Managers (EAM) to achieve objectives set by management.
• Attract, develop, assess, differentiate, and retain top talent through recruitment, ongoing coaching, and proactive and effective use of colleague development and performance management tools.
• Allocate 75% of available time on field-coaching days to aid AMs and EAMs in achieving performance objectives by enhancing their core competencies and professional growth.
• Exhibit strong leadership and foster collaboration among all team members.
• Meet or surpass sales targets (quota) both overall and for key growth products by developing and coaching AMs and EAMs within the designated area.
• Successfully oversee the launch of new products, services, and equipment.
• Achieve success in other vital sales metrics, such as growth rates and improving the overall health of the area business by enhancing leverage and managing analytical insight reports.
• Create annual strategic business plans that encompass demographics, economics, performance, potential, actionable items, tracking, and reporting for both individual territories and the area as a whole.
• Coordinate and allocate resources for marketing efforts in the area, balancing the needs of AMs and EAMs.
• Manage various administrative and reporting responsibilities, including but not limited to Operating Expenses, Performance Management, Performance Reviews, etc.
• Attend and participate in new product launches and periodic regional/area sales meetings.
• Engage in special projects and additional duties as assigned and directed by the Regional Business Director and/or headquarters management.
• A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership/management role for external talent.
• Proven success in previous positions involving people leadership and creatively identifying opportunities or solving problems to enhance sales performance.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, business management, and computer skills.
• Embody the qualities of a change agent, a continuous learner, and someone who pushes themselves and others beyond conventional thinking.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment, align with and influence internal and external stakeholders, and build/manage relationships at all organizational levels.
• Skilled at working in highly dynamic, complex, and ever-evolving environments.
• Utilize analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution across the area.
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage assigned expense budgets effectively.
• Customer-focused professional demeanor and presentation style.
• Highly focused and results-driven, capable of identifying goals and priorities while resolving issues in the early stages.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a close-knit team environment; self-starter.
• Knowledge and experience in Animal Health and small animal veterinary medicine.
• Demonstrate a willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.
• Availability and willingness to travel extensively (70-80%) to manage area personnel and business needs as required.
