Architectural Services Consultant – Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Promote professional door hardware specification services, encompassing Division 8 and 28, to prospective architectural clients as part of a pull-through sales strategy.

• Oversee and manage project lifecycles from Schematic Design to Construction Administration.

• Proactively ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope and budget, while effectively managing risk and quality control.

• Assist in the formulation of project scopes of services and objectives.

• Ensure involvement from stakeholders and technical feasibility in door hardware solutions.

• Advocate for Allegion brands and architectural services.

• Identify and secure project specification opportunities leveraging industry knowledge and networking.

• Initiate architectural consulting agreements with firms through established industry relationships and expertise.

• Collaborate with local project sales teams on specification projects and conduct market meetings.

• Stay informed about industry and competitor products, adapting to changes in the marketplace.

• Maintain awareness of Allegion's policies, guidelines, and procedures, ensuring adherence to them.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in project management, architecture, construction management, or door hardware consultancy.

• High School Diploma is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Ability to travel up to 25% within the designated territory.

• Basic understanding of security systems integrations and electronic components.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven experience in influencing others with a proactive approach.

• Strong focus on customer service.

• Must reside within the territory: North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
