Architect II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Work autonomously and with minimal guidance as part of a diverse team; engage in design, selection, coordination, and architectural detailing.

• Create and contribute to design and presentation tasks using Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and other necessary software.

• Independently establish and manage the REVIT model to generate plans, elevations, and sections. With limited supervision, create REVIT section and plan details across all architectural phases.

• Draft preliminary design sketches for small to medium-sized site plans.

• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the alignment of project documentation.

• Aid in the development of design and conceptual drawings.

• Assist in the coordination of engineering systems with engineers.

• May assume a leadership position within the team concerning specific project issues or topics.

• Review shop drawing submissions with some direction from the Project Architect.

• May participate in field site inspections, which often involve physically walking through the site.

• Attend and actively engage in project team meetings.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience is required.

• Current Architectural Registration in the United States is mandatory.

• Must be capable of contributing to the development of projects' technical or design elements and content.

• A strong creative design portfolio is essential, along with excellent communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Proficient in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite is required.

• Professional business attire is necessary for all client meetings. Appropriate examples include suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses, and skirts.

• Travel is required.
