Architect, AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design and promote solutions within the Red Hat ecosystem that align with the strategic goals of customers.

• Assist customer associates and executive stakeholders in the adoption of AI and MLOps methodologies.

• Work collaboratively with project and customer teams to manage project scope, mitigate architectural risks, and achieve delivery objectives.

• Engage in consulting sales activities, identify customer pain points, outline engineering projects, develop architectural proposals, and conduct technical demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).

• Develop architectural blueprints, deployment guides, project documentation, diagrams, and best practices.

• Design and implement production-grade MLOps pipelines utilizing the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat OpenShift AI.

• Provide guidance on model selection based on business use cases, GPU memory limitations, costs, and licensing considerations.

• Create containerized deployment architectures for models using KServe and enhance inference servers such as vLLM, TGI, and Triton.

• Set up automated benchmarking and testing for throughput, hardware efficiency, and cost-per-inference metrics.

• Mentor customers through workshops, paired programming, and architectural assessments.

• Coach junior consultants and engineering associates on deploying AI workloads in Kubernetes environments.

• Commit to ongoing training and professional development in LLM, MLOps, and cloud-native technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in a related technology role, such as sales, consulting, operations, or development.

• Over 5 years of experience with public cloud and Linux technologies.

• At least 3 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or Kubernetes.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience delivering production-ready AI solutions.

• At least 3 years of experience providing production-ready machine learning use cases.

• Familiarity with public and private cloud infrastructure technologies and providers.

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or OpenShift Specialist certifications are preferred.

• Experience in publishing technical whitepapers, creating architectural blueprints, or presenting at industry conferences is a plus.

• Experience in the Financial Services sector is advantageous.
