Arabic to English OPI/VRI Remote Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Professionally answer calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Understand the specific vocabulary relevant to the healthcare and medical industries.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretations of messages.

• Adhere to established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show eagerness to acquire new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report regularly to your team leader.

• Follow dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Security Clearance (assistance will be provided if not currently available).

• Citizenship or Green Card is required.

• Fluency in the source language (English) and native proficiency in the target language "Arabic".

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is considered a plus.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are advantageous (such as PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language is required.

• Possess high emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

• Exceptional communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills are essential.
