This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee a team of accountants.
• Accountable for mentoring team members and enhancing their performance.
• Enter General Ledger postings.
• Manage all Accounts Payable and Receivable activities on a daily and weekly basis.
• Review and post accruals for each period to ensure accurate company expenses.
• Lead the reconciliation of the Balance Sheet for all Assets and Liabilities accounts and maintain the Excel spreadsheet.
• Verify accounts for the month-end closing process.
• Generate monthly Financial Statements reports.
• Create reports for audit and tax purposes.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Finance and Accounting Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred with seven to ten years of relevant experience required for this role.
• At least three years of experience in a BPO/Shared Services environment.
• Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Experience in managing or supervising personnel.
• Background in a Corporation's Accounting Team, with direct involvement in the Month End Close process, Account Reconciliations, and report generation for audits and taxes.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Dependable and trustworthy.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, predominantly night shifts, and during Philippine holidays.
• Must be open to working in Alabang, Muntinlupa when in-office operations resume.
