A&R Manager – Asia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• You will serve as a representative and spokesperson for Too Lost, engaging with independent labels and artists, educating them on the Too Lost Product Suite, and building working relationships with these potential clients.

• Support priority clients with product management to ensure assets are ingested with technical accuracy.

• Expand the company’s market share by integrating high-value artists, labels, and catalogs into the ecosystem and maximizing their commercial potential after ingestion.

• Rights Verification: Examine digital assets to confirm that all tracks are suitable for ingestion and that ownership splits are accurately documented.

• Lead Generation & Pitching: Proactively seek and identify high-value independent artists, labels, and catalogs that are currently dissatisfied with their distribution or administration.

• Present the advantages of Too Lost to key decision-makers and prospective clients.

• Education: Spot opportunities to transition clients into higher-tier services during the onboarding phase.

• Revenue Optimization: Identify and recommend key tracks within the catalog to enhance mutual ROI.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between the artist and the onboarding team to address upload and/or delivery issues.

• Conflict Resolution: Detect and resolve double-claiming or takedown challenges that may occur during the delivery period.

• Post-Ingestion QC: Conduct Quality Control on DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) to ensure releases are correctly linked, profiles are mapped, and play counts are maintained.

• Prior A&R experience and a network within the target market.

• Proficiency in both English and various local languages.

• Demonstrated success in building pipelines through cold outreach and market research.

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-friendly demeanor.

• Capability to adhere to structured workflows, meet deadlines, and maintain KPI metrics.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Comfortable handling digital music assets (audio files, artwork, metadata).
