AR Insurance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Manage denials, appeals, and aging reports.

• Follow up on medical claims that have not been paid in a timely manner.

• Reach out to insurance companies to ascertain the reasons for unprocessed claims.

• Dispatch medical records as needed.

• Communicate with patients to gather additional information required for claim processing.

• Collaborate with coding teams regarding denials.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

• One to three years of experience in the healthcare sector, specifically in third-party reimbursement, collections, and public interaction.

• Proficiency in computer applications for billing, word processing, and spreadsheet data entry.

• Experience with Excel spreadsheets is mandatory.

• Background in medical billing denials and claims is essential.
