Appraisal Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Supervise the preparation of essential exhibits and memos to illustrate inspections.

• Regular travel to on-site properties based on assigned work requests.

• Manage travel arrangements and related expense reports.

• Engage in internal and external client meetings as necessary.

• Cultivate strong relationships with market and business line leaders to share best practices, drive innovation, and ensure quality and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license in at least one state, with a willingness to obtain licenses in multiple states.

• MAI designation or candidacy is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant field (though not mandatory).

• A strategic understanding of commercial real estate appraisal is essential.

• An active driver's license and the ability to travel easily between states are required.

• A strong attention to detail and excellent time/calendar management skills are highly desired.

• Prior experience and proficiency with Microsoft products, particularly Outlook and Teams, are necessary.

• An active Certified General Appraiser License is mandatory.

• Ability to drive for asset tours; airline travel may also be required.

• Effective communication skills in person, over the phone, and via email are essential.

• Visual acuity sufficient to perform job duties, including reading from printed sources and computer screens, is required.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
