Appointment Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Coordinate appointments for new patients, follow-ups, rechecks, and referrals in the clinic.

• Accurately log appointments and cancellations in the scheduling system.

• Process registration paperwork and authorizations for new patients via email, fax, or mail.

• Manage and respond to information requests from case managers and workers’ compensation adjusters.

• Stay informed about physician preferences and availability.

• Maintain the schedules of physicians and staff, ensuring appointment availability in the scheduling system.

• Work with a centralized team to coordinate the schedules of multiple physicians.

• Communicate scheduling changes and requirements to appropriate teams.

• Ensure adherence to regulations concerning patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Safeguard sensitive medical, financial, and other confidential information.

• Execute additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

• Preferred: Two years of experience in customer service, scheduling, or healthcare.

• Must possess flexibility and enthusiasm.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience using Microsoft Outlook is necessary.
