This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold fraud detection models throughout the entire model development lifecycle, encompassing data acquisition, feature engineering, training, experimentation, productionization, and monitoring.

• Establish foundational models for Fraud and Financial Risk products.

• Investigate emerging types of fraud and create identity-verification products.

• Continuously refine research and development, integrate new data sources, and perform innovative feature engineering.

• Write production-ready code for real-time decision-making by partners.

• Design, execute, and present analyses that inform data acquisition, product development, risk operations, marketing, and sales.

• Collaborate with engineering, risk operations, and data acquisition teams to access essential data, ensure data quality, and facilitate data access.

• Take ownership of a specific technical domain and engage in high-visibility, high-impact projects.

• Work collaboratively across the company to investigate fraud, develop products, and deliver analytical insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience/research.

• Solid foundation in machine learning, statistics, or applied data science.

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common data science tools gained through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.

• Proven capability to analyze complex problems and create data-driven solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

• Enthusiasm for gaining in-depth knowledge about fraud, identity, and financial risk systems.

• Capacity to write clean, maintainable code.

• Strong attention to detail and a keen curiosity about real-world data challenges.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with diverse, high-impact, open-ended problems.
