Applied Research Scientist, Clinical AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish clinical accuracy for machine learning outputs and identify significant clinical mistakes.

• Transition models entirely from experimental notebooks to fully operational services integrated with our RS360 backend application.

• Create cohort and outcome analytics from complex, patient-level monitoring data.

• Conduct historical backtesting against human-generated notes to foster trust with internal engineering, product, and clinical teams.

• Safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) responsibly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced expertise in Python, PyTorch (or similar frameworks), and SQL.

• Proven experience in building and deploying clinical or biomedical machine learning models (utilizing EHR, time-series, sensor, or imaging data).

• Strong ability to manage real-world, complex, sparse, or poorly labeled device data.

• Solid understanding of machine learning evaluation techniques, including preventing data leakage and designing customized metrics.

• Excellent written communication skills to succeed and influence technically within our remote, asynchronous team.

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
