Applied Health & Medicine Benchmark Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create original and challenging multiple-choice questions within the health and medicine sectors.

• Evaluate question difficulty and offer comprehensive, structured solutions.

• Review current questions to ensure medical accuracy, clarity, completeness, precision, solvability, and validity of answers.

• Edit and amend assessment content as necessary.

• Document the rationale behind significant modifications.

• Develop one correct answer along with nine plausible but subtly incorrect alternatives.

• Support questions with 1–5 reputable academic references.

• Set rigorous benchmarks for evaluating AI performance on advanced medical and health science topics.

• Uphold high academic and professional standards across all assessment materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD, DO, PhD, or doctoral candidate in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, or a closely related field.

• A Master's degree may be accepted for candidates with exceptional expertise in a specialized health or medical area.

• Strong mastery of advanced medical knowledge, biomedical science, clinical reasoning, and research methodology.

• Board certification, relevant clinical experience, research publications, or advanced specialization in a health-related area is highly preferred.

• Capacity to critically assess medical evidence and differentiate nuanced, technically correct answers from plausible but incorrect options.

• Excellent proficiency in written English and the ability to convey complex medical and scientific ideas clearly and accurately.

• Keen attention to detail along with a rigorous fact-checking and quality assurance approach.

• Ability to work independently on demanding, open-ended academic assessment tasks.

• Expected commitment of 10+ hours per week.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not currently supported.

• Work may encompass Clinical Medicine & Surgery, Medical Imaging & Diagnostics, Pharmacovigilance, Healthcare Management & Economics, Rehabilitation & Allied Health, or Biomedical and Health Sciences.
